Myanmar - Final Day in the Field

Posted by Lezah Maitland on

Thank you all for your prayers. It was a great week. The believers in Myanmar will need our prayers for continued discipleship and the threat of persecution when we leave. The Pastors and church members know persecution is a very high possibility when they participate in a project. Yet they willingly obeyed God’s call. I will send another update with results from our victory rally. We start traveling home tomorrow.

Today was our last day in the field. We did a half-day then this afternoon is the closing rally. We partnered with Wade and Faith's team. One woman from their group set up 13 visits with government workers who are only free on Saturday. Matthew and I only go to three visits, but we shared with 12 people. Eleven of them are now believers. I'm glad we had one more morning to share the gospel. I'm anxious to hear how it went for Wade and Faith. Also, to hear the results from the other teams. To God be the glory!
