Every believer needs a ministry in the church to the body of Christ, and every believer needs a mission in the world to those outside the walls. Prayerfully consider where God may be leading in your next steps in service.

Buckner: A hands-on ministry, serving the most vulnerable from the beginning to the ending of life, such as foster care, adoption and shoes for orphans.

Compassion International: A Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.

Elementary School Support: There is a decreasing level of parental involvement in our schools. We have opportunities to help the faculty, students and families. Currently serving Vaughan, Boyd and Rountree Elementary Schools.

Special Friends: Reaching out to families in our community who have children or family members with special needs.

Gideons: Gideons distribute Bibles all over the world in 90 different languages where large numbers of people tend to congregate.

Evangelism Made Simple: A two-part class equipping believers to share their faith with confidence.

New Move: Providing move-in buckets for members to use as an outreach tool in order to introduce new residents to our church family.

NEXT Worldwide: Training teens and young adults to live a mission lifestyle through church planting.

Pray for Your Neighborhood: An online program that helps you connect with other Christians in your neighborhood with the goal of praying for those around you.

Acts 6 Ministry: Serving those with tangible needs, particularly widows, widowers, singles and senior adults. Volunteers with an interest in service are welcome.

Backpack Ministry: Supplies a backpack filled with nutritious, kid-friendly food for the weekend to a local child in need.

Chainsaw Team: Providing free tree cutting services one day per month to those within our community who cannot financially afford these services. The goal is to share God’s love through service.

English as a Second Language (ESL): Assisting international adults as they adjust to life in the United States. During the school year, we provide weekly English classes to help students improve conversational English and share the Christian faith.

Food Pantry: Providing groceries and spiritual encouragement to families in need who live in Allen, Fairview or Lucas.

Hope’s Door: Shelter and counseling programs to help break the cycle of domestic abuse.

Samaritan Inn: Providing homeless individuals and families a no cost, secure, clean place to live with the goal of developing independence.

Volunteer Christian Builders: Providing volunteer labor to construct buildings for worship and other Kingdom-building activities.

We Care: Offering assistance to individuals and families in our community in a time of crisis. Need 1-2 caseworkers for an hour of intake 2-3 times a month.

Worship Together: Offering informal worship time of teaching and music to area nursing homes.  Greeters, teachers and people to sing are needed.

Baptist Student Ministry (Collin College): Provides monthly outreach lunch fellowships. You can help provide food and visit with the students.

International Missions: Our Missions budget enables us to pay up to 75% of the total cost of the trip allowing many the ability to participate.
